By day I’m a software engineer. I build integrations and web apps, and I build websites for local businesses here in the Hudson Valley. On YouTube and TikTok I talk about life, investing, business and tech.

Who this blog is for

This blog is for beginners. If you’ve ever felt like business, money or tech talk was in another language, you’re in the right place. Every post aims to:

  • explain one idea in plain English,
  • give you one small step you can take today, and
  • link to the video if you’d rather watch.

How the quests work

Posts are grouped into four quests. Start wherever you like:

  1. Tech 101: how websites and code work.
  2. Business 101: from idea to first customer.
  3. Money Basics: budgeting, saving and protecting your family.
  4. Investing 101: compound growth, risk and the vocabulary.
